What You'll Do
- Take a lead role in trial preparation, including exhibit management, witness binders, trial notebooks, and electronic presentations
- Assist attorneys with mediations, arbitrations, and courtroom proceedings
- Develop and maintain case chronologies, indices, and organized case files
- Coordinate document productions and discovery management
- Cite-check, proofread, and prepare pleadings, briefs, and legal filings
- Manage litigation calendars, deposition scheduling, and critical deadlines
- Support trial logistics, including war room setup, courtroom technology, exhibits, and trial materials
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of civil litigation defense experience
- Recent hands-on trial experience and confidence supporting attorneys in the courtroom
- Experience handling complex litigation matters from inception through trial
- Proficiency with litigation technology such as iManage, Relativity, TrialDirector, CaseMap, Case Notebook, or similar platforms
- Public Entity defense experience is a plus, but not required
- Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
